New Site Will Continue to Serve Unique Product Needs of Asia-Pacific Customers ~
Ball Ground, GA (March 15, 2024) — A special ribbon cutting ceremony and opening celebration was held today at the new state-of-the-art CAIRE Medical Technology (Chengdu) Co., Ltd. facility in the Sichuan Province of China.
The newly-constructed space offers 4,553 square meters (49,013 square feet) of production, warehouse and office space for the 86 employees serving in a variety of roles inclusive of human resources, finance, engineering, quality, supply chain, production, equipment, customer service, marketing and sales. In addition to the physical space, the adjoining technology park has a cafeteria, a large conference center, sports facilities, and more. 
“We are pleased to announce the move to this exceptional space in Chengdu, which represents our commitment to excellent service to our Asia-Pacific customers. We have been serving this unique audience for more than a decade with CAIRE’s complete portfolio of therapeutic oxygen devices, along with expanded offerings tailored to the specific needs of our customers in this region,” said Ken Hosako, CAIRE President and Chief Executive Officer.
Mr. Hosako was joined by CAIRE employees, key distributors and suppliers, and special guests for the opening’s festivities, which included remarks from company leadership and celebratory performances, including a Drum Dance of Prosperity and dragon and lion dances.
Distinguished guests included: Mr. Dong Yong, Deputy Secretary of the Wenjiang District Committee and Secretary of the Party Working Committee of Chengdu Medical City; Ms. Zhang Li, the Deputy Director of Chengdu Medical City Management Committee; and representatives of the AmCham China Southwest Chapter, the American Chamber of Commerce in China.
“The settlement of CAIRE in Wenjiang is conducive to promoting the formation of an industrial ecosystem in Wenjiang District that integrates upstream and downstream enterprise resources for oxygen generating equipment and continuous innovation and production of high-end medical devices,” said Mr. Yong during his remarks at the opening ceremony.
“Moving forward, we will uphold the concept of mutual empowerment and achievement for the vigorous development of CAIRE in Wenjiang with the greatest effort, highest efficiency and best service, thus providing high-quality oxygen supply equipment for patients worldwide, allowing all CAIRE staff to enjoy a wonderful life and achieve personal fulfillment in Wenjiang.”
Longtime Chengdu leaders — Aaron Jing , Director of Operations; Lily Li, Asia Controller; and Jianping Wang, Production Manager played significant roles in the move from the former location and set-up at the new site. Jinfang Property Management Company will manage all safety and emergency solutions for the location.
CAIRE Medical operated at its former location for over 12 years and will continue to manufacture the Eclipse 5® portable oxygen concentrator and the VisionAire™ 5 stationary oxygen concentrator, exclusively offered outside of the United States, along with a range of select AirSep® commercial oxygen concentrators in the new space.
With its corporate headquarters based in Ball Ground, GA, USA, CAIRE sells non-invasive cardiorespiratory diagnostic systems, oxygen therapy devices, and onsite generation solutions to customers in more than 195 countries. The location in China is just one of nine manufacturing sites that make up the company’s strategic global footprint.
